Filipino food is among TasteAtlas’ Top 50 Best Cuisines in the World in 2022.
Garnering a 4.39 rating, Filipino cuisine is ranked 19th in the food encyclopedia’s top best cuisines.
The Philippines’ famed dishes tortang talong, lumpiang shanghai, and sinigang na baboy were named as the best rated dishes, while pancit, lechon, and sisig were identified as the country’s most popular food.
Meanwhile, Italian cuisine topped the list, followed by Greek cuisine and Spanish cuisine.
According to TasteAtlas, each country’s rating is obtained by the users average rating of the 30 best dishers, beverages, and food products in that country.
The site said that countries that are not on the list do not have enough items rated. – ag
