Galvez pleased with the reduction in vaccine hesitancy numbers

Vaccine czar Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr. expressed gladness over the reduction of vaccine hesitancy among Filipinos.

The survey was released last Thursday, Jan. 20, by the Social Weather Stations (SWS).

Based on the latest SWS survey, the number of adult Filipinos who did not want to get vaccinated against COVID-19 decreased to only 8% last December compared to 18% in September 2021.

According to Galvez, this decrease in numbers shows how effective the government’s vaccination campaign against COVID-19 is.

Meanwhile, the government also launched the “Resbakuna sa mga Botika” campaign recently, allowing vaccination at different pharmacies in NCR.

This program will soon be expanded beyond NCR. –With reports from Patrick de Jesus/PG – bny
