Germany now exempted from healthcare workers deployment cap

The government has approved the exemption of Germany from the deployment cap of nurses and healthcare workers here.

In a virtual conference on Wednesday (July 7), Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said that the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) approved his recommendation to exempt Germany from the deployment cap as more healthcare workers and nurses will be taking their licensure board exams this year.

Bello assured that there will be enough nurses and healthcare workers for the Philippines despite his recommendation.

Moreover, the Department of Labor and Employment said that the temporary deployment ban to Israel will be lifted soon, thus applicants must prepare for their possible deployment. – Report from Louisa Erispe / CF – rir
