The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported over 1 million individuals or more than 300,000 families were affected by the typhoon. More than 100,000 families from the 300,000 have undergone preemptive evacuation.

According to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), it prepared P6.5 million worth of food items, hygiene kits, and sleeping kits on standby in its regional warehouses for distribution to typhoon victims.

Moreover, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) both assured that they are taking action for the search and rescue operations.

Majority of the assets of the security forces were deployed to respond to the needs of the victims.

19 roads have been closed due to flooding, landslide, and debris blocking the way. Electricity has been disconnected in around 53,000 households. Bicol Region is the most affected.
