Government approves over 1,100 telco permits

Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año has reported that more than 1,100 telco permits were approved by the government Monday night.

According to Sec. Año, only 428 new applications are pending with the local government units (LGUs) and currently being processed.

President Rodrigo R. Duterte has sternly reminded LGUs to improve their system in processing documents.

“You know, including us. It’s very sad that this country has been, you know, allowing this practice of delays and promoting the laggard quality of our civil service.”
