Government eyes vaccination of economic frontliners on the 2nd quarter

The government aims to vaccinate the economic frontliners against Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) on the second quarter of 2021.

According to Vaccine Czar and National Task Force against COVID-19 Chief Implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., public transportation drivers, and workers in the food industry are among the economic frontliners, pointing out the need to protect them since they also
provide service to the public.

Health workers, senior citizens, military, police, and vulnerable population are among the priority groups given in the government’s vaccination plan. -PTV News
