Grab Philippines gives out PHP5.05 million refund to customers starting December 31, 2019

Beginning on December 31, the Grab Philippines begins to confer reimbursement to its customers whom availed its services from February 10 to May 10 and May 11 to August 10. Said refund can be utilized via GrabRewards, which will come after the user satisfy the necessary step on the matter. As backdrop on the reimbursement, the Grab Philippines was penalized with PHP23.45 million by the Philippine Competition Commission for the overcharging committed by its cabs and the company’s numerous law infractions. PHP5.05 million was the amount required to be returned to the customers.
