PH-Russia sign 10 deals during PRRD visit

The Philippines and Russia have signed 10 agreements during Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s official visit to the Eurasian state. The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) confirmed that the deals are on the aspects of trade and investment, food, technology, energy and more. Under the Memorandum of Intent, Russia is open to explore the possibility of building nuclear power plants in the Philippines. The Filipino Chief Executive has also invited Russian businessmen to invest in the country especially in the government’s Build, Build, Build projects. The deals are also expected to provide more jobs for Filipinos.
