IATF-EID approves easing of age-based restrictions in MGCQ areas

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque announced that individuals aged 10 to 65 in areas under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) are allowed to go starting February 1.

According to Secretary Roque, the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) has approved the recommendation to ease the age-based restrictions in MGCQ areas.

Meanwhile, the IATF-EID left decision to the local government units (LGUs) under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) to adopt the easing of the age-based restrictions.
