IATF requires COVID-19 vaccination for onsite employees

By Katrina Gracia Consebido

The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Monday, June 27, updated its testing requirements for all unvaccinated employees.

According to IATF, all establishments and employers in the public and private sector shall require their eligible employees who are required to report onsite for work to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

“However, for onsite work purposes, those who will remain unvaccinated shall be required to undergo RT-PCR tests once every two weeks or weekly antigen tests.”

Meanwhile, employees who recently had COVID-19 infection within 90 days shall be exempted from the testing requirement, as well as those with working arrangements that do not require onsite reporting.

Testing requirements will only be required in all areas under Alert Level 2 or higher, while areas under Alert Level 1 shall be waived from testing requirements “subject to the implementation of clinical-based management, including symptomatic testing.” – ag
