Isolated rain showers over PH likely until Friday

MANILA — The whole country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers likely until Friday, the weather bureau said.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said this weather condition is caused by localized thunderstorms.

“Queenie” has maximum sustained winds of 125 km/h near the center, and gustiness of up to 155 km/h.

Strong to gale force winds will blow over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon, where coastal waters will be rough to very rough.

Moderate to strong winds will prevail over eastern Visayas and the rest of Luzon. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (Ma. Cristina Arayata/PNA)
