Isolated rains across PH Friday

By Ma. Cristina Arayata | Philippine News Agency

Most parts of the country will experience only isolated rain showers on Friday, Nov. 25, the weather bureau said.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), however, will continue to cause rain showers and thunderstorms over Soccsksargen, Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, and Palawan.

These areas may experience flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, moderate winds and moderate seas will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Luzon and the Visayas.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
