Isolated rains over PH on Mothers’ Day

MANILA — Isolated rainshowers will prevail over most parts of the country on Mothers’ Day, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

The easterlies affecting the country, however, will cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Samar provinces. There may be flooding or landslide due to light to moderate with at times heavy rains, according to PAGASA.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds will prevail over the entire archipelago with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (Ma. Cristina Arayata/PNA)
