MANILA — South Korean boy group, iKON, has expressed eagerness to return to the Philippines and include the country in its upcoming concert tour.

iKON was in Manila on Tuesday evening for the Philippine launch of Samsung S10. It was the group’s second time in the country, after holding a concert here last November.

“We are excited and we hope to visit the Philippines soon for our tour,” the group said through an interpreter.

Bobby, Jinhwan, Ju-ne, Donghyuk, Chanwoo, B.I. and Yunhyeong performed three songs to more than a thousand audience composed of their fans, Samsung executives, dealers and the media.

Jinhwan said he can speak some Filipino words and uttered, “sakit ako tiyan”, “sakit akin ilong” (My tummy hurts. My nose hurts.)

Known for the song “Love Scenario”, iKON is managed by YG Entertainment, the same company that handles Blackpink.

The group was formed in 2015 and released its debut studio album in the same year.
