Lady pusher yields P140K drugs in Cebu buy-bust

CEBU CITY — A newly-identified drug personality in Talisay City was arrested in a buy-bust operation Thursday night in Barangay Tangke.

The Cebu Provincial Police Office identified the suspect as 31-year-old Marry Grace Seguisabal of Purok Rattan, Barangay Tangke.

Packs of methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” with an estimated value of PHP142,000 were recovered from her possession.
Although newly identified, Seguisabal, who admitted selling illegal drugs for a month now, is believed to be a major player in the drug trade and a direct down-line of an arrested drug lord, meaning she gets her supply directly from the source and jacks up the price.

Another newly-identified drug pusher in the same barangay, however, managed to evade arrest during the same operation Thursday night.

The suspect identified as Jayme Medilo, also known as “Imot,” was able to elude arrest and is now at large and being pursued by the Talisay police.

Meanwhile, the Talisay City police also tracked and apprehended a French national with a warrant of arrest for violation of Article 171 of the Revised Penal Code, or falsification of public documents, also on Thursday.

The arrested foreigner, David Chetrit, is now detained at the Talisay City police station. (Luel Galarpe/PNA)
