Lesser number of Filipinos think they are poor

The number of Filipinos who think they are poor has lessened. This was revealed by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey conducted in September 2019. The study showed that only 10.5 million Filipino families said that they are poor, that is half a million or 3% less as of last count in June 2019 at 11 million. Further, the self-rated poverty study by the social research institution indicated that Balance Luzon and Metro Manila shook off six points, Mindanao lowered by three points, while Visayas gained four points.
