Liza Soberano files complaint over rape remark


Actress Liza Soberano has filed a complaint against a netizen who made a rape remark about her on social media. She admitted being upset about it.

The actress admitted she firmly believes that rape jokes are not to be taken lightly and decided to take the matter to court.

Soberano has proceeded to the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office Thursday morning after the post of the female netizen has gone viral. She was accompanied by her legal counsel and manager. Soberano’s camp insisted that the netizen has violated RA 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act. – Report from Allan Francisco
