Mahigit 800 PDLs sa Cebu City, nagpa-booster sa ginawang ‘Bayanihan Bakunahan’

Mahigit 800 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) mula sa Cebu City Jail ang naturukan ng COVID-19 vaccine booster sa unang araw ng pagsasagawa ng Bayanihan, Bakunahan sa Cebu City.

Ang Cebu City Jail ay isa sa mga vaccination site na binuksan ng lungsod para sa nasabing aktibidad.

Ang mga personnel mismo mula sa Department of Health Region 7, mga doktor at nurses ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), at mga volunteer healthcare worker ang nagsagawa ng massive vaccination sa mga PDL.

Ayon naman kay Cebu City Health Officer Dr. Jeffrey Ibones, umabot sa 8,583 ang nabakunahan kahapon (Peb. 10).

Umaasa naman si Ibones na maaabot pa rin ng lungsod ang target na 58,000 indibidwal ang mabakunahan ng COVID-19 vaccine. (Radyo Pilipinas)
