Majority of Filipinos believe quality of life will improve by yearend

Majority of adult Filipinos said the quality of life will improve by yearend, based on the latest survey released by the OCTA Research Group.

Based on the recent Tugon ng Masa survey conducted from March 24 to 28, it found that 50% of Filipinos think that the Philippine economy will improve over the next six months.

Around 40% said the country’s economy will not change, 6% answered “will be worse than the present,” and 4% said they “don’t know.”

The highest percentage of adult Filipinos who think the country’s economy will improve over the next six months is in Class D (51%) or lower middle class and E (50%) or poorest of the poor.

Meanwhile, the highest percentage of adult Filipinos who think the Philippine economy will worsen over the next six months belong to the Class ABC or those from the upper socio-economic class.

Optimism regarding the Philippine economy within the adult Filipinos increased since October 2022 from 46% to 50%.
