The palace passes the volition on the prolongation of cease-fire with the communists to the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Earlier, Communist Party of the Philippines Founding Chairperson Jose Maria Sison suggested that the communist group will stretch the halt of armed contact if the state releases some political prisoners. The Malacañan responded that the group should not impose conditions.
