Malacañan denounces NPA attack in Eastern Samar

Presidential Communications Operations Office lead Jose Ruperto Martin Andanar condemns the assault of the New People’s Army (NPA) in Libutan village, Borongan City, Eastern Samar on Friday, December 15, 2019, that resulted in two slain individuals and 15 casualties. As the communications chief of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict, he promised that the task force will sustain its coordination with local officials and civil society groups, and inform on the state’s resolution to end the conflicts.
