PNP on the alert during holiday season

The Philippine National Police (PNP) is on the watch for crimes in the country amid the holiday season. Accordingly, it has implemented the full-alert status that entails the increased manpower from the police force in populous areas. Furthermore, police officers are prohibited to be on leave in the duration of the season. Moreover, policemen are warned against indiscriminate firing on their part.
