Malacañang welcomed on Monday, June 27, the latest Publicus Asia Pahayag Second Quarter 2022 survey showing outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte as the most popular head of state with 75% approval rating and 69% trust rating.

Acting Presidential Spokesperson Martin Andanar thanked all Filipinos for “standing behind” the president in his six years of service to the nation.

“Having said this, we express our deep gratitude to the Filipino people for standing behind the President who has broken barriers and has overcome challenges in his six years of service to the nation,” he said in a statement.

“We likewise thank the public for supporting the Duterte Administration in bringing genuine, meaningful and positive change, which a great majority of Filipinos (75%) felt, when asked regarding the development impact of post-EDSA 1 Administrations,” he added.

Meanwhile, Andanar urged the Filipinos to continue to be united in nation building as the country embarks on another milestone in political history. –ag
