Malacañang respects RTC’s decision to prosecute Joma Sison over Inopacan Massacre

The Palace shall abide by the Manila Regional Trial Court’s decision to prosecute Communist Party Leader Jose Maria Sison and 37 of his comrades for their alleged involvement in the 1985 Leyte “Inopacan Massacre” attributed to the New People’s Army. The Armed Forces of the Philippines shall coordinate with the Department of Justice, Department of Foreign Affairs and the Interpol to facilitate the arrest.
