Manila-China, domestic flights canceled due to bad weather

MANILA — Two flights between Manila and China, and several domestic flights were canceled Tuesday due to bad weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.

These flights were Air China (CA) 180 Manila-Peking, and Xiamen Air (MF) 828 Manila-Xiamen.

Domestic flights canceled were Sky Jet (M8) 816/817 Manila-Basco-Manila, and M8 711/712 Manila-Busuanga-Manila.

Earlier, Cebu Pacific (5J) and Philippine Airlines (PR) have announced the cancellation of the following flights scheduled on Tuesday:

5J 504/505, 506/507 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila;

5J 196/197 Manila-Cauayan-Manila;

CebGo (DG) 6009/6010 Manila-Basco-Manila;

PR 2688/2689 Clark-Basco –Clark;

PR 2612/2613 Clark-Cauayan-Clark; and

PAL Express (2P) 2196/2197 Manila-Laoag-Manila

Latest bulletin from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Typhoon Rosita is in Sablan, Benguet, and moving towards La Union at 20 kilometers per hour (kph).
