Manila LGU, LBP, DENR join hands to boost Manila Bay rehab

Manila’s local government unit, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and Landbank signed an agreement to help establishments in the city build their own functioning sewage treatment plant. Under the program Solutions in Terminating Pollution for Manila Bay, qualified local government units and private businesses may avail of a loan from the participating bank for the proper treatment of their water waste before it goes to the Bay.
