Marcos Jr visits wake of former President Fidel Ramos

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. visited the wake of the former President Fidel V. Ramos on Thursday, Aug. 4 at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig City.

Marcos extended his condolences and sympathies to the family of the late statesman.

“Tayo ay nakiramay sa pamilya’t kaanak ni dating Pangulong Fidel V. Ramos,” he said.

He also commended Ramos for all his contributions in serving the country.

“Ang kanyang pagsisilbi sa bayan bilang sundalo at lingkod-bayan ay hindi matatawaran at kailanman ay hindi makakalimutan,” he said.

Marcos has declared July 31 to Aug. 9 as a period of national mourning on the passing of Ramos. –ag
