Maynilad announces water interruptions in Imus City

IMUS CITY, Cavite – Maynilad Water consumers in Barangays Anabu, Bayan Luma, Bucandala, Casadang Bago, Malagasang and Tanzang Luma in this city will experience interrupted water supply services from 8 a.m. on Nov. 16 until 7 a.m. on Nov. 17.

The water firm, in an announcement on Wednesday, said the water interruptions are due to water service upgrade involving interconnection of the two-foot-diameter primary line to the existing two-foot-diameter primary line and the installation of flow meter along Bayan Luma Road corner Patindig Araw Road.

The affected barangays are Anabu I-A to I-C, I-E and I-F; Anabu II-A to II-F,  Bayan Luma VIII and IX, Bucandala I to V, Carsadang Bago I, Malagasang I-A to I-F,  Malagasang II-A to II-C, II-E, and II-G and Tanzang Luma III, IV, and VI.

In its advisory, Maynilad officials pre-warned of a possible delay in the resumption of water service in the affected areas due to several factors.

These include the area’s elevation, its distance from Maynilad’s pumping stations and the volume of withdrawal from the water service provider’s mainlines.

Maynilad is advising customers in these areas to store enough water for the duration of the water service interruptions.

For updates and concerns, clients may contact the Maynilad-Cavite Hotline at ‎1800-1000-92837. (PNA)
