Maynilad, Manila Water to start meter reading on June 1

The Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) Regulatory Office has ordered the start of meter reading in households on Monday, June 1.

The two water concessionaires, Maynilad and Manila Water, are also expected to release water bills on the said date.

The bill will cover the water consumption of households from March to May.

The MWSS has reiterated that lifeline users or the households that consume a maximum of 10 cubic meters per month have until August 31 to pay for their bills while the non-lifeline users have until July 31. – Report from Cleizl Pardilla
