PCOO Sec. Andanar introduces ‘broadcast distancing’ as part of the ‘new normal’

Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar urged local government units (LGUs) and the media to try “broadcast distancing” as part of preparations for the “new normal.”

In a virtual conference with several local officials, Sec. Martin Andanar showed a part of his home broadcast studio. He stated that it is not impossible to broadcast from home, and that he is ready to give advice to officials who want to learn.

Meanwhile, the PCOO Chief acknowledged the huge role of LGUs and information officers in the “new normal.”

“Now it is your duty to sustain the spread of these information… Let us speak as one, write as one, and heal as one,” Sec. Andanar urged. – PTV News
