SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, Antique — Antique’s provincial government will give free medical and dental services to women in celebration of National Women’s Day on Friday.

Antique Provincial Planning and Development Officer II Prisceli Joyce J. Galuego said in an interview on Tuesday that various services would be provided to women at the capitol grounds starting at about 8 a.m.

“There will be medical and dental services by the Integrated Provincial Health Office to be conducted at the capitol ground for 100 indigent women,” Galuego said.

She said there will also be free manicure, pedicure and haircut for the first 150 women.

Various national government agencies, such as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) will also render services.

The PRC will conduct professional license renewal, and the PSA, authentication of birth certificates.

“The DENR will be processing applications for land titling,” Galuego said.

The Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) together with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Antique Chapter will provide legal assistance.

“We encourage women, especially to avail of the free services,” she said.

The celebration of Women’s Month in the province will culminate with a job fair at the Binirayan Gymnasium in San Jose de Buenavista on March 20.

The job fair will be held in tie-up with the Public Employment Service Office of the provincial government.
