Mendiola scores biggest PFL win with rout of GAU

CARMONA — Mendiola zapped Green Archers United, 5-2, for its biggest win in the Philippines Football League (PFL) at the PFF National Training Centre on Wednesday.

Ash Flores scored a quick brace in the seventh and 15th minutes to lead Mendiola’s barrage.

Soul Mdepe made it 3-0 for the club in the 36th minute, while birthday boy Mar Diano joined the scoring parade in the 45th minute as Mendiola entered halftime ahead, 4-0.

Flores completed a hat trick with a 53rd minute goal for a 5-0 Mendiola lead.

Pao Bugas finally put GAU on the board in the 87th minute, while Freddy Mbang made another goal for the club in stoppage to somehow minimize the damage dealt on the team.
