Metro Manila COVID-19 positivity rate further dips to 16.8%

Metro Manila’s COVID-19 positivity rate further dipped to 16.8% or moderate as of June 3, according to OCTA Research Group.

Positivity rate in the region was previously at 21.7% on May 27.

OCTA Research Group fellow Dr. Guido David said positivity rates also decreased in Bulacan, La Union, Rizal, and Tarlac.

“Positivity rates are now decreasing in most of Luzon,” David said.

The Department of Health reported additional 1,272 COVID-19 cases on June 4, pushing the total of active cases to 13,808.
