Metro mayors ready for COVID-19 vaccine roll out


The Metro Manila mayors are prepared for the arrival of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine in February as confirmed by Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) General Manager Jojo Garcia.

Following the meeting of the mayors of the National Capital Region (NCR), the vaccination plans of the local government units (LGUs) have already been laid out. They are just waiting the vaccine’s arrival.

Meanwhile, Vaccine Czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. and Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque III continue to visit different cities to ensure the proper implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination program. – PTV News
