KIDAPAWAN CITY – The Mindanao Star Bus Line, one of the public utility buses serving the Davao City-Kidapawan City routes, has donated a bus to the Kidapawan City government.

Mayor Joseph Evangelista personally received the key and the unit from representatives of Bachelor Express, the firm that owns the Mindanao Star Bus, during simple turnover ceremonies held Saturday at the city hall grounds as part of the city’s 21st charter day celebration.

The acquisition of the bus was dream come true for city government employees and officials, which they can use in out of town official trips, like seminars, training, and team building, among others.

“We feel elated with the donation for it came with the bus firm expecting nothing in return,” the mayor said.

He assured the bus company that the donated bus unit will be for exclusive use of the city government and for official use only.
