Minors among Baguio City’s jab recipients in vax drive

The local government of Baguio City is targeting to vaccinate more than 60,000 individuals in the three-day national vaccinated drive “Bayanihan Bakunahan.”

This is despite the city’s 70% coverage of its eligible population. Among the vaccine recipients during the city’s rollout are minors accompanied by their parents.

City Mayor Benjamin Magalong appealed to individuals and groups advocating against the administration of COVID-19 vaccines to stop.

“Because some people continue to advocate ‘yung ‘no vaccine, no vaccine.’ I would like to again ask and appeal to you to please shut up instead,” he said.

Meanwhile, the India Business Forum Philippines Association Inc. and the Indian Embassy donated P4 million worth of medicines in the city. – Report from Breves Bulsao (PTV Cordillera)/AG-rir
