MANILA — Local oil companies are again set to adjust the prices of their products effective 6am on Tuesday, although this time, motorists are likely to feel it either way.

In separate announcements Petron Corporation, Pilipinas Shell, PTT Philippines, TOTAL and Eastern Petroleum announced a PHP0.10 per liter increase on the prices of their gasoline products while a PHP0.10 per liter rollback will be implemented in their diesel products.

Companies carrying kerosone will likewise roll it back by PHP0.35 per liter.

Meantime, other oil firms are expected to announce similar adjustments in their pump prices.

Oil executives explained that their latest price adjustments only reflect current movements in the international oil market which their firms are simply passing on to the Filipino consumer.
