Monday forecast: Fair weather, clear skies in most parts of PH

By Ma. Cristina Arayata | Philippine News Agency

Generally fair weather will prevail over most parts of the country on Monday, the weather bureau said.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), however, will cause rain showers and thunderstorms over the regions of Eastern Visayas and Caraga.

These areas may experience flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

“Today, most areas in the country will have a fair and warm weather,” said PAGASA weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio.

He added that no weather disturbance was monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Fair weather with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail over the entire archipelago, PAGASA said. – gb
