MRT-3 to temporarily close from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2

The Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) will implement a temporary shutdown from October 31 to November 2.

According to the MRT-3 administration, this will be implemented to give way for the bushing replacement in the depot and to carry out a turnout activity by the service provider Sumitomo Mitsubishi Heavy Industries at the Taft Avenue station where the refurbishment of 2A and 2B turnout sections will be continued.

The MRT-3 administration has reported that the 1A and 1B turnout sections have 91% completion rate. The procedures are part of the extensive rehabilitation and maintenance of the whole line of the MRT-3.
