As part of the National Literature Month celebration this April and the staging of its 12th Philippine International Literary Festival (PILF) this entire year, the National Book Development Board (NBDB) is presenting the first episode of “Author on Author,” a series of literary conversations between two writers, on April 23.
According to the NBDB, “‘Author on Author’ is a once-a-month program featuring two Filipino authors interviewing each other as they go deep into their creative processes, their rituals before writing, the joy of touching their first published work, and their spirited journeys as Filipino creatives.”
The first episode is set for April 23, and will take place online at 2:00 p.m. Entitled “Grit and Grime: The Good, The Bad, and The Creative Process,” the show features Ivan Man Dy and Paolo Herras.
Man Dy is the author of “Deco Filipino: Art Deco Heritage in the Philippines” while Paolo Herras has written “Strange Natives” and “Buhay Habangbuhay.”
