NBI, BuCor report probe on NBP riot ongoing

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is waiting for the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and Bureau of Corrections (BuCor)’s report regarding the riot at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) on Friday before taking appropriate action.

The NBP riot on Friday left 7 injured and 9 casualties.

According to DOJ Secretary Menardo Guevarra, the NBI has already started its investigation Monday and the BuCor has given its partial report but he has requested for a more thorough investigation.
