NE monsoon affecting northern Luzon Tuesday: PAGASA

MANILA — Scattered rainshowers will prevail in some parts of the country on Wednesday as the northeast monsoon is affecting northern Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Administrative Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

The state weather bureau said the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by local thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will experience strong to gale force winds and the coastal waters will be rough to very rough. (Lily Ramos/PNA)
