NLEX: Activities in middle of expressway prohibited

The management of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) issued a warning on activities and “gimmicks” being made in the middle of the expressway.

This after individuals playing badminton in the middle of NLEX during Holy Week made the rounds on social media.

Another one even placed a chair in the middle of the expressway to prove that the traffic was not moving.

“I think iresponsable po ‘yan sa part ng motorists natin kasi they know, they know that they are in the expressway,” NLEX Traffic Senior Manager Robin Ignacio said.

“Tapos hindi naman ‘yan laruan ng badminton. Alam po nila ‘yun,” Ignacio added. GB/Gabbie Natividad – cf
