NLEX bounces back, trips Columbian

MANILA — NLEX Road Warriors stopped Columbian Dyip in the fourth quarter to take a 116-104 win in the PBA Governors’ Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Wednesday night.

Fuller, who replaced the injured Olu Ashaolu as NLEX’s import, tallied 35 points on 13-of-23 field goals, 21 rebounds, seven assists, and one steal as the team moved up to 3-1.

Larry Fonacier was NLEX’s top local with 17 markers, one rebound, and four assists.

Akeem Wright made 37 points, 17 rebounds, five assists, and one steal for Columbian. (Ivan Stewart Saldajeno/PNA)
