NLEX romps erstwhile unbeaten Blackwater in Guiao’s return

MANILA — Following his stint with the national team, Yeng Guiao returned at NLEX’s helm and led the team to a 124-106 rout of Blackwater in the PBA Governors’ Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Wednesday night.

The Road Warriors kept the Elite at bay scoring-wise in the first quarter while picking up the pace in the final three quarters en route to the blowout.

Aaron Fuller and Larry Fonacier each made 24 points for NLEX, which moved up to 4-2.
