NPA official surrenders in Aurora

A supply officer of the New People’s Army (NPA) identified as “Ka-Arnold” has surrendered in Baler, Aurora. He also laid down his arms, an M1 carbine with a round of ammunition and grenade to LtCol. Reandrew Rubio, commander of the 91st Infantry Battalion (91IB) in Barangay Calabuanan.

Rubio said the surrender came after “Ka-Arnold” became tired of fighting in the mountains and for having only less than two hours of sleep per day due to non-stop running and transferring of sites.

He will be provided livelihood by the government to support his daily needs with his wife and three children. – PTV News
