The way we deal with them is the way we dealt with the surge in the NCR, and that is really… We recognize that expanding testing, tracing, and isolation should be the whole year effort – it doesn’t stop,” ani Rye sa isang webicon ngayong araw.

“There will be people or patients who will not be able to receive the vaccines for different health reasons, there will be young people for whom the vaccine would not be approved,” sabi ni Austriaco.

“In order to protect those unvaccinated people, countries target herd immunity,” dagdag niya.

“I know that the national government is hesitant to talk about herd immunity, but as I have pointed out, if we aim for the stars, we may land on the moon, so we always target the highest threshold,” ani Austriaco.
