Over 940-K Pfizer doses arrive in PH

A total of 940,680 doses of government-procured Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine were delivered to the country on Wednesday night (Sept. 22).

More than 811,900 doses of the vaccines that arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 will be brought to the Pharmaserv facility in Marikina City. The government allocated 128,700 doses to Cebu.

 

 

The delivery will be followed by another 806,130 doses procured by the government on Thursday (Sept. 23), according to the National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19.

The country has received more than 2.5 million doses of Pfizer vaccines earlier this week. These were donated by the United States government through the COVAX Facility. – Report from Rod Lagusad/AG- bny
