Over PhP 3M worth of illegal drugs seized in Caloocan City, Quezon City


Authorities arrested 7 individuals in separate anti-drug operations in Caloocan City and Quezon City on November 15, Sunday.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) initially arrested 4 suspects, Christian Jerico Refuerzo, John Yecla, Ronnel Corpen, and Bruce Geslani, in an apartment in Caloocan City. The QCPD has confiscated around 26 kilograms of Marijuana worth more than PhP 3M.

Meanwhile, authorities nabbed 3 suspects, Justin Vein Rosales, Jhovel Canon, and Mark Dee Jay Lontoc, in the second buy-bust operation in Kingspoint Avenue, Barangay Bagbag, Novaliches.

PhP 680,000 worth of shabu was confiscated from the suspects.

The 7 suspects will be charged with violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. – PTV News
