OVP receives highest COA rating for 4th straight year

By Gabriela Baron

Two days before ending her term, Vice President Leni Robredo’s office received the highest Commission on Audit (COA) rating for the fourth straight year.

In a tweet, Robredo said the Office of the Vice President (OVP) has once again got an “unqualified opinion” from COA, the highest audit rating given to a government agency.

“We were granted an unqualified opinion by the Commission on Audit for the 4th straight year (2018-2021)!!!” Robredo wrote Wednesday, June 29.

“What a fitting exclamation point to our 6 years at the OVP,” she added.

Robredo is set to step down on June 30. Outgoing Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte will succeed her post. – ag
